I am a Forest Engineer conducting research in fields related to forest ecology, species distribution modelling, climate change, forest degradation monitoring, biodiversity, and conservation, integrating field data and satellite information using Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing techniques.

• 2010 – 2014: BSc. in Forest Sciences, National University of Cajamarca, Jaen, Peru.
• 2017: I obtained a degree in Forest Engineering from the National University of Cajamarca, Peru.
• 2018 – 2020: Master’s degree in management for Sustainable Development, National University Toribio Rodriguez of Mendoza of Amazonas, Chachapoyas, Peru. As part of my course, I undertook using species distribution modeling for Forest Conservation and Restoration in the Andean-Amazonian Landscape, North of Peru.
• 2022 – 2025: Ph.D. in Science, Technology and Biotechnology for Sustainability, University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy. Conducting research through the integration of innovative ground-based data (TreeTalker device) and satellite data to enhance phenological monitoring in Mediterranean ecosystems.
• 2023 (Nov.) – 2024 (Apr.): Visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Cambridge (UK), affiliated with the Forest Ecology and Conservation group within the Department of Plant Sciences. Investigating the potential of the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) for identifying phenological patterns in tropical forest ecosystems of South America and temperate forests of Europe.
